Lori Flekser

Lori worked on the production of films, docos and TV shows for almost thirty years for local and international companies – going from PA to producer - before heading up the Development Division of the Australian Film Commission (later Screen Australia). In 2010 she was appointed Executive Director of the Motion Picture Distributors Association of Australia, a peak body representing the studio film distributors in Australia and advancing the interests of theatrical distribution in Australia.

She held a concurrent role for ten years as Executive Director of Creative Content Australia, an industry-funded organisation that raises awareness about the impact of film/TV piracy on the creative industries.

Lori is committed to developing and supporting strategies that drive the evolution, growth and sustainability of the Australian screen industry.
